I arrive and set up, including table protection and materials. I begin with a short introduction to the process, then guide the group step by step through making the chosen piece.
Once the pieces are formed, they are gently dried so they can be decorated with underglaze. At the end of the session, I pack everything away and take the selected pieces for firing.
These workshops are designed as creative workshops, they are not structured as children’s entertainment or supervised childcare sessions. Older teenagers may be considered on request.
Please see Children's Clay Party section for workshops tailored to young makers.
I provide everything needed for the session:
• Clay
• Tools and materials
• Underglazes for decoration
• Table protection
• Collection, drying and kiln firing of all finished pieces
All participants can simply arrive and begin working.
Not included:
• Venue
• Refreshments
• Protective clothing
The host is responsible for providing suitable table space and parking for unloading and setup.
I offer workshops within 15 miles of Wallington (SM6) as standard. For locations beyond that, a travel charge per mile (calculated from my studio postcode) is added to cover travel time and costs. Please ensure suitable parking is available at the venue for unloading and setup.
Pieces require drying and kiln firing. Turnaround time will be confirmed at booking.
Collection or delivery arrangements are agreed in advance. Delivery charges may apply.
